Welcome to the new The Flip Side. Previously, this space was where I worked up essay ideas, and then published them. In January 2012 I decided to gather them all up, edit the funniest and best of them into something of a narrative that I could then self-publish on Amazon.
The pages now reside in a paper bag, and a friend who also wants to write a book, and I, get together each week to critique each other.
I am an on-again, off-again professional graphic designer and commercial illustrator. Quite often I am a house painter. I am always a writer. Writing is the only thing that comes easily to me without an iota of anxiety. Cooking is a close second.
This space is now going to be old school blog. No ads and no agendas to further my career, no G+, no twitter, no Facebook sharing requested. I am stepping away from the tower of babel that blogging has become. Personal narrative, perhaps some tear sheets from writing assignments or design projects, maybe some photographs is all you will find here.
